Valencia rested their key players in the weekend defeat at Zaragoza just to focus on the importance of this match. Determination and a pretty good home form are my arguments why Valencia should win this match. In the Primera Division, Valencia have won all of their last 5 home matches and in the Europa League they won 3 out of their last 5 home matches.
Atletico still regret having lost to city arch-rivals Real and will try to wash away the shame against Valencia. Still, away they don't shine at all, having lost 3 out of their last 5 Primera Division matches and drawing in the other 2. In the Europa League, in their last 2 away matches, they won once and drew in the other one. For some reason, despite having a lot of stars in the team, results are pretty weak this season and I doubt that they will impress right now against Valencia.
No doubt about it, this match will have plenty of goals and a sure winner: Valencia.
Here are the starting teams:
Valencia: Sanchez - Alexis, Dealbert, Navarro, Bruno - Fernandes, Baraja - Mata, Silva, Hernandez - Villa
Atletico Madrid: Gea - Lopez, Dominguez, Perea, Ujfalusi - Simao, Garcia, Assuncao, Salvio - Aguero, Forlan
